Warsaw is Poland’s capital and the largest city in the country. It is a great place for walking, exploring, and picture taking at night.
Although badly damaged in the final years of the Second World War, Warsaw has restored itself greatly. In 1980, the Historic Centre of the city was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site as “an outstanding example of a near-total reconstruction of a span of history covering the 13th to the 20th century”.
